For him, each architectural style is a cultural story. Neoclassical is like a mature love song. Modern is a straightforward and strong breath. Asia is quiet and profound like the quiet moonlight on the mossy tiled roof. Europe is elegant and dignified… He does not memorize them, but lives with them, so that when he works, each detail naturally appears. Like a familiar song.
He doesn’t just follow the drawing, but always digs deeper: Why does the handrail have that curve? Why does the relief choose the shape of a lotus, not a peony? Every detail carries a layer of meaning, a cultural story of its own. And he wants to “breathe life” into every material, from wood to stone, from metal to fabric.
He always believes that: a space – especially the office of the leader. Must have its own “aura”. It cannot be a copy, no matter how perfect. Because that location is not only a workplace. The process of designing and constructing the president’s office
The project started like any other. A conversation with the architect, a few sketches, and a clear time frame. But from the very beginning, he knew this was more than just a place to work. It needed to be built from the ground up.
The first step he took was choosing the right type of wood. Not all precious wood is the best, but it must be a material with a “soul”. Something that will resonate with the architecture, light and spirit that the chairman wants to convey. Then came the long days of carving and carving wood patterns completely by hand. Each line was measured by feeling, no machine could replace it. The ceiling reliefs, the elaborate handrails, the edges of the tables and chairs were all meticulously cared for in every detail.
There were nights when he chose to sleep in the workshop, just because a small pattern detail had not reached perfection. There were also times when he spent a whole week just polishing the curve on the armrest. Not because anyone was forcing him, but because he himself knew it was not beautiful enough.
